“When the oven’s hot, you’ve got to bake the bagel.”

“It’s better to have part of something than all of nothing.”

“Don’t worry about what the other guy is getting. Focus on what you’re getting.”

“After the agreement is signed, talk about the weather, talk about the baseball game, what you had for lunch yesterday. Talk about anything except for the agreement you both just signed.”

 “And never bring your wife to the meeting. You don’t want her asking why the other guy’s wife’s walking around in a new fur coat.”

Sam Helberg died a few years ago. He survived the concentration camps as a barber before he became a businessman known as a generous mentor.
